Was just having a look on your website and saw the new Gulf oils available.
What is the story with these new oils. What oils are they on a par with and are they worth a go?

Very good mate, full on ester based jobbie.

We had it tested and the results were good, Gulf are pitching it at the Motul 300v and the Silkolene Pro S market, just a bit cheaper.

Is that the formula range or the competition

Competition range, the Formula is similar to the Motul 8100 and the Fuchs Titan range.

So the Formula 5w40 would be good enough for 90% of cars here ? i.e stage 1 to 2 cars running upto 300bhp, mainly fast road and the odd trackday :)

Not a bad price

It would Mark and for those that want something better the Competition 5w-40 or 10w-40 would be good choices against the likes of the Silky as they meet the ACEA A3/B4 road specs.

We're still finding our feet with the range but it's extensive and the products that we have tested have impressed us hence the decision to stock them.
