I like 'em.
They are mainly autos tho :( so the rare manuals command a high prce. You can do some nutty turbo conversion on them...
but...

what is the point? If you've got a 200 (or a Starion) for that matter that you want as a weekend driver and so require something a little odd as your daily, then a Sera is a good bet. OK so it isn't as quick maybe and it is FWD, but you get (as standard) air con, 10 speaker live sound CD player, every gizmo you can think of and those really rather cool doors

I want one!

Let's not forget, gentlemen, that this is a car called Sarah! (I don't care how they spell it, that's what it's called  ).

I saw one whilst in Sydney this year. It was fully kitted, had huge rims and loads of stuff on it including a turbo'ed engine. I have to say I was Impressed. Saying that I think the Nissan 100NX looks pretty smart with some nice rims and lowering springs on it.

Lol :D

/on a more relavant note some background into the name silvia:

"1.2 Why "Silvia"?
According to the Chief Designer, Mr. Ootake, the name "Silvia" comes from Greek Mythology and was the name of a beautiful Nymph. According to Roman Mythology (which borrows from the Greek) Siliva was the mother of Romulus and Remus (By Mars) and was the daughter of King Numitor. Her uncle gave her to to the goddess Vesta. "

Lies. No Nissan has EVER been called Sylvia. Silvia yes, and the S14 and S15 were all called Silvia. S13 chassis had the Silvia and the 180SX.

Hehhe.. ;)

Toyota Sera comes with a fancy stereo system too apparently. And the Starlet Turbo Engine will fit right in, or you could mate the head to the existing block for a higher displacement turbo engine.
