Replacing ECU-Question!

Think the ECU could be one of the reasons the car isnt starting at the moment.
Its a redtop SR20 and i was wondering if i need to swap an ecu into it, will an ECU from any other redtop S13 sr20 do???
How do i now if its right? or what do i look for if there are specific things which i need to be looking for in a replacement ECU.

yeah any redtop ecu will do check the code on the ecu aswell just to make sure u get a redtop one not a black top one black top powerfc non vvt can be used but u have to modify the loom a bit

if its an ecu number 62 then you have a 1991-1993 manual sr20 redtop ecu.
