a uk iso adapter from halfords or something should plug straight in
is that like a jdm - uk iso adaptor?
No, the audio loom on the 180SX is virtually identical to the 200SX, and indeed almost every Nissan car produced at the time. Heck probably even now. :D
The real question is whether it's been modified at all. You may find it already has an adapter installed. You will almost certainly need to find a good earth too
Can you take a picture of the wiring with the units removed? It should be fairly easy to see if it's been modified or not.
yeah i'll take a snap soon, doesnt look modified though, cheers mate

Mine consisted purly of bullet connectors when I swapped the sterio so you're already a few steps ahead! :wack:
I'll be taking it apart again soon as the current sterio doesn't like my suspension too much - If you can wait a few weeks for me to have all the parts I'm trying to collect then I can try and get pictures of all the wires plus labels
As long as it's still got the original Nissan wiring connectors then you can buy a Nissan>ISO adapter for it - if it's a Kouki they're different though, as I found out when I wired up my original Nissan wiring plugs to my head unit and tried to fit it :wack:
thanks for the help guys, feel like an idiot for starting this thread as i unplugged the twin din stereo the other day.......it was only 2 plugs! :wack:
(although to be fair it really did look like spaghetti junction back there!)
gonna get an iso soon as now anyway
the iso adapter from halfords will be the new micra one, ive not long fitted one to my car
