FYI :)
There are a number of changes to the camping areas and facilities at the circuit for this year's race. Here is a summary of the changes to the campsites.
- The building work for the Le Mans football stadium is well underway and as a result the Houx Annexe campsite is reduced in size (approximately to about what was Houx Annexe Sud in 2008). This site will be allocated numbered pitches (strictly 7m by 5m). There are also some large pitches (105m2 for up to three cars).
- Karting Nord has numbered pitches again this year with standard and large pitches.
Further changes have been made to the track at Maison Blanche with larger run offs and gravel traps. This has further reduced the capacity of the campsite.
- Maison Blanche will be numbered pitches again this year with the large pitches expected to run along the back of the campsite (close to the road).
- A temporary roundabout will be in place in Bleu Parking. This should ease the congestion and improve access to the Maison Blanche campsite.
- Bleu Nord and Bleu Sud have also undergone some changes to improve the layout of the numbered pitches.
- Bleu Parking has not been on sale to agencies, but parking is available at Blanc, Expo and Rouge
- To reduce the traffic congestion on the roads to the Arnage and Mulsanne viewing areas access to these parking areas is restricted to Arnage/Mulsanne parking ticket holders only. If you only have a camping permit you will not be allowed to park in these areas. There are free shuttle buses that will run throughout the race from opposite the main entrance of the circuit and close to the Beausejour Campsite.
