Anyone up for go karting?

As per the title really, anyone interested in going?

Daytona is a good track with some decent karts.

Personally I like the team enduro events better as everyone gets the same seat time and it makes things fair for folks that aren't as quick as others.

Without being rude, someone like Byebye is never going to be as quick as some little whiper snapper and would probably get knocked out (of the race as I can't imagine anyone would physically do it) in the early rounds.

I am sure each section could muster up a couple of teams each to make a good battle of it :)

yep me and byebye have really poor power to weight ratio in a cart, compared to someone like dan who weighs less than my left foot

maybe some of us get the turbo option:D

i havent had chance to get on sxoc properly for a while as ive been away on holiday :p

im happy to organise this with a discount for paid members as extra incentive to get people to come along

if enough people register their interest in this thread by the end of july then we can organise it for august time :nod:

Regarding "weight", one of my *cough* portly mates just acted as a mobile chicane for the whole race. He spent more time looking behind him to see the best line to block overtakers than he did looking at the track ahead :wack:

My vote is for an endurance morning and then sprint races in the afternoon :thumbs:

EDIT : The last time I went to Daytona, I got soaked - the heaven's opened and it flooded at the bottom corner :o . Much slidey-ness ensued before they pulled all the karts in :D

Could be a great giggle but in my situation i dont think i have the funds.
