Any of you guys ever come across this? Maybe not so much with the 200...but with older cars you have had / tuned? Just looking for a "Yes they work" or a "Pointless expense!"

My girlfriends dad told me to try this, never did though.
My old man used to use one on my cars years ago when I first started driving
i tried to use that on my beetle but due to the layout of the engine i couldn`t see what was going on:rolleyes:

can't see it being much use TBH, maybe help set up your idle, but not that sure.
One of their gas analysers might be a bit more useful but you really need a RR and/or wide band lambda kit to anything particularly useful.
I've used, or at least tried to use one. It's really difficlt to see what colour the flame is, and even more difficult to match it to the colour chart they give you.

I've used one a few times and its for idle mixtures only, and its really handy if your working with a pair of sidedraft DCOE carbs were you have idle mixtre adjustment of every cylinder.
