As above Chessington meet - 18th April - 3pm onwards.
Its time for another one, we'll go with the 18th at the moment as long as it doesn't clash with something else. As usual all newbies welcome, just park your car and head into the pub and look for the posse abusing a fool known as Algie:p
I should be there this time although the chances of me not appearing in a Volvo are slim.

The car park (towards the back) is surrounded by trees so you won't see the cars as you drive past. Besides we've agreed with the management we'll only turn up once a month as we trash the joint at Christmas. :D

Lol, it was mine last monday but luckily it is Easter Holidays so had a nice easy one at work due to there being no kids in.

i should be there i to have to work on the car a little as someone has driven into the rear and i have to sort the filler/paint out...got quoted £500 just to sort the rear out :cry: so its not on top form but running at least....

Well I was gonna come to this after work if the weather was alright, however I've just realised my car is at home, the intercooler is in my mums car and my throttle cable keeps falling out the bracket giving me zero powers too :wack:

Lydden Hill is that for BHP?? think its on a Monday..i will see if i can get it off work if you want start a gathering of cars (mini convoy type thing hopefully more then 2 cars as that's not much of a convoy) but i would be up for that, (im only in putney so not far from Kingston)

I'm not coming to Lydden Hill unfortunately, but am going to Duxford and the SRR day :).
Had a good night thanks Shadow, didnt go too mental as i knew i had to get up for the F1 this morning, and was well worth it :D.
Any ideas how the RX7 was after we left NinjaSX with it?
The FD is sort of broken, I suspect it`s chipped an apex seal, lumpy idle and the vacuum is weaker at idle than it should be not to mention the unburnt fuel coming out:(
Not one for mechanical sympathy I ragged it about for an hour or so after I left chessie and went to Guildford and back in it today, it still pulls like a train at a bar of boost though:wack:

Still not bad going, in 15 years of making cars have more power than they should this is only the second time have broken an engine.

I saw a nice black supra on do-luck double sixes broken down on the hard shoulder of the m25, If I had noticed him before I flew past in the outside lane I would have stopped and given him some mechanical advice :wack:
It`s fine on boost, I dread to thonk what my emissions are like, it makes your eyes water standing behind it at idle:wack:
From my time working at the dyno I have seen so many supras not running right:whip:

Sorry guys I was too busy working on the car. The upside though is it coming along nicely and I have numerous part all freshly painted sitting in the garage... its getting there. :smash:

Ended up spending longer in Swindon than i thought!
Got back about 8ish, had to go past but thought it was far too late even for stragglers so didn't stop! Next time.

when is the next meet guys has this been discussed yet??
Not sure when the next one will be as Japfest is on the 16th and the rolling road day is on the 30th. There is always the 23rd but I'm on best man duties... doh.
