Guys who were at the meet tonight, will know we talked quite a bit about the possibility of 1. joining our meet with the SSR boys and 2. joining the club ourselfs.

I had Pm'd Marc from the SSR site (crail loser on here) about the fact we didnt really wanna be mixin with the neds as they seemed to be connected with the strathy site.
This was Marc's response:-

lol, what a small world we live in, funny thing is thats what some of the ssr peeps were saying about you lot

85% of ssr are over 25, 75% of them own a car thats worth more than 10G

Believe me when I say I do not tollerate neds, one of the main points of the club was that there was to be no neds, thats for the strathycruisers m8, SSR was made for the big boys

You are in the club Kev, take a look down the members list and tell me how many neds you see

well apart from calling us neds (not really.... least i dont think so:eek: ) i think u can see for urself what the man is getting at.

Cant really blame him for the responce, cos my PM wasnt very well put at all, silly boy.

Anyway just thought id let u guys know how the land lies.
Ive PM'd Marc back to find out how many members are jap car owners.

So wat u think about this?

my guess is that we wanna do our stuff and ssr wanna do theirs but any chance for helping each other/combining meets/trackdays/etc should be encouraged?

...talking of trackdays, tell them about 3rd June?

I agree with Brian, not that I'm in a position to comment though with the amount of meets I've turned up to in a Jap car

Kev - I'm building a top spec PC at the weekend for a m8 so could you give me yours any evening next week? OK if I meet you at Brucefield to show you the way to the olds house from there?

Monday OK? Say 7PM? I could prolly fix it while you are there if you need it back asap. Can just play GT3 or somethin if you fancy it whilst XP installs. You'll need your ISP account details including email account details so I can set it up for you and you can get back on the net, you'll either have a list of settings or an installer that does it automatically. Bring whichever one.

Nah don't need anything apart from the tower and whatever you want putting in it. (Memory?)

Nmind the ISP stuff then - didn't realise you were on BB. Should be easy for you to get back online when you get it home.

Cya there at 7PM.
