What next ????

As ive sold my MR2 Turbo and have only got the AE86 left, i think after a while im gonna get fed up of how "Basic" the '86 is ,so it'll become my second car for drift day use (if i ever complete it !!).
So ive got around 5K left to spend on somthing for a daily driver my thoughts are :-

1. Skyline GTS Turbo R32
2. S14
3. Pulsar
4. Feck knows ...

S14 dosnt do that much for me as ive owned a few S13's and i prefer there look but the SR20DET does sway me, ive feel that the pulsar puts my back into the "Boy Racer" bracket as it's a hatchback.......

So really it's looking towards the R32 , but i need so advice on things like , brake pads wheel bearings, trackrod ends etc are these fitted on other nissans that were officaly imported ??
This is the only thing that worries me as i cant be arsed a car that i cant nip to the motor factors and get a set of pads for :eek: .
But the RB20DET sounds sooooooooooo nice :D

Help me to convince myself to get a R32 but there's somthing holding me back ... i think i just need a bit of reassurance (speeling)

If you like the looks of the S13 and you like the SR20DET, then why not import a late 180SX Type-X from Japan, which is the S13 with a cool bodykit and spoiler, and the SR20DET engine as well!

I believe they were produced right up to 1998 :)

Trust me on this.. You wont get bored of your AE86! As you get more and more into them, you will throw more and more money at it and become more and more attached to it. My car is dogga slow and i still love it! Only a large sum of money would get rid of mine! :D

I say Toyota Soarer.. mmmmmm, the sound of the 1JZ GTE will make you forget alllll about the RB series.. ehhe..

thought of a scooby? they are definitly not slow, they have all the creature comforts, dont look like a japanese nova (that'l be the sunny then) and there is not an engine in the world that beats the sound of an EJ20...

i did consider a scooby as the EJ does sound sweet but there more common than the Mondeo now so i'd like something different
Been in a couple and they just feel dull, i like to be slightly scared of my car :D

The Soarer things opened up a new avenue though.

Im pretty sure they did Manual Soarer's.. I'll go look! They kick ass for top speed and stuff to, 1JZ GTE is the best Toyota engine ever IMHO :D

Found one soarer with a manual box a j plate, 6K though not much funds left for mods though and there's note worse than drivin a standard motor :(

got the 86' for my retro cool mobile looking for somthing more modern, but a starion was my 2nd choice if i couldn't find a '86

Paz, who's was that sweet EA86 from the first drift day we did in Stafford? that was well sweet and sounded amazing.

Where abouts was this drift day in Stafford? Is there somewhere I can take (free though, not paying to do it) my astra to thrash it around a bit before I get rid of it :) (friday/sat 9th/10th may :( )

That Silver over Black one was Sam Lau's.. 20v Engine with Throttle Bodies etc. He sold it recently for like 5k i think, to one of Cas's friends in Essex (Cas is the guy who helped Sam with the conversion)..

The Drift Day was held at Stafford Airfield, but we got banned shortly after the second session :( .. Doubt they will let cars on there again?
