Grr..acuusing me?

Guy comes up to me at work..."Are you the person who owns the white car?"..."Yes"...( I think he's going to compliment it )..."Well, I have the 'new' black Clio and I got home yesterday and found a huge white scratch on the drivers side, do you know anything about this?" :eek: ... ( he parked on the passenger side of my car, turned up after me and left after me )..."No..." I told him, "...I can gaurantee you that there isn't a single scratch on my car, check it if you want."...( he looked less than convinced so I checked the security cameras ) ..they clearly show me getting into my car by the drivers door and leaving. So I told him that and asked exactly where the sratch was..."on the rear quater panel"..ARGH..HTF could I hit the rear quarter panel with a door on a coupe the length of my car..Its impossible :mad: I'd need to be parked in the damn wall to get the door that far back..."Oh, well it must be a 'white' stone chip then"...I'm all stressed out now..and quite annoyed...

It annoyed me that if he had actually thought about it, he would have realise that its physically IMPOSSIBLE for me to have hit his car in the area that it was hit..and maybe he would have thought twice about accusing me. He didn't apologise he just said "Well ok then, its not a problem"...which I have taken as.. ."Well I don't really believe you but I can't be bothered to try and argue the point." I feel like I'm being called a liar and thats the thing that has really got my back up..

I got accused of hitting someones car in my old 200. Apparently the person returned to their car (a blue Citroen) and found a red scrape along the side. The spotted my car parked up nearby and went over for a look. They spotted the paint chips on the front bumper and also some flakes of red paint under the car. They picked up some of the flakes and went off to the police station to log a complaint.

I had the police turn up at my door asking if it was me who hit her car. The policeman explained where she was parked so i went outside to see what he was talking about. For a start... the chipped paint on my bumper was on the wrong side of the car for me to have hit her. I also showed the policeman the scattering of red paint on the road from where i'd chopped part of the red undertray to fit the volvo intercooler. I then showed the policeman various photo's of my car from well before the "incident"which showed the same paint chips on my car. The policeman apologized to me for wasting my time and left.

The next day i saw the blue citroen with a huge red scrape along the rear door, parked in the same spot it was parked in when i supposedly hit it. The road is a one way street so the parked cars always face the same way......The fcuking scrape was on the kerb side of the car !!!!!
