Castle Combe Marshalling 2009

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone's marshalling at castle combe this year. I'm going to the training day on sunday, first time I've ever done it though so hoping for a good time throughout the year :thumbs:

Hiya Shaboy,

Not sure if I'll get to Castle Combe yet or not but enjoy the training. I reckon you'll be hooked once you get going. :thumbs: It's a great hobby, marshalling.

My local circuit is Oulton Park where I marshal mainly. But I tend to try out other tracks too. I'm off to Snetterton this weekend, not been before but it should be good.

Anyway, enjoy yourself and just remember, there's no such thing as a daft question.

yeah i'm really kinda looking forward to it and the events, although standing out in the rain all day :no:

i might also try to get about abit, once i find my feet, got various friends and family dotted about the country so it'll be easy to find somehwere to crash if i get the opportunity to visit other circuits :thumbs:

Well i'm not down to do it yet, i've put my name down for some of the major events throughout the year but i'm sure they won't have a problem if i want to do more dates, kinda hoping they might need some extra help for Japfest :D

but i'll defo come say hello to people if tehy're down this way :wave:

I'd seen a thing about that in their newsletter and considered it briefly.

I'd be worried whether I have the time to be able to commit to it.

well, went for the training today and was pretty good, mainly due to the weather :thumbs:

mainly on the job training really, just the theory behind it done today.

Have had to put my name down for various race events but can attend any 'action days' as i want and marshal them or take advantage of my marshals pass and just come along as a spectator..including Japfest :D
