Right then people, I think 5 weeks after having a baby is being very slack, sooooo, who is up for a meet this month?

Dates, venues are all up for suggestion, just post em up and see what the majority agrees with :)

I amy even bring my S13 along, though the chances are not good :D

Come on we can't let Cambridge lot have more meets than us, or Norfamton lot take our lot or let the Oxford posse take over :p

Cambridge meet ftw! :wack:

If it's a weekend meet, I can probably pop down... Though I have no idea if the S13 will make it, progress on the interior has been pretty slow inbetween work and other projects :(

Posting at 3am FTW :wack::sleep:

I think sticking to the last Sunday of the month may be an idea, seeing as the Norfamton lot nicked our date of the first Sunday!

What was at Billing? Don't forget I only had a baby 6 weeks ago!

Everything is your fault, more so now :p

Ive had a little idea. In these tight times with 6 pubs closing every day maybe we should have a meet in local small pubs.
The big chains with their big car parks are all well and good but they arent the best pubs and dont really need our business to survive.

The downsides:
room for seating - pick the right time of day when its a bit quieter.
safe parking - country roads which are quiet and safe

Well my local doesnt have a big car park but there is a long quiet wide lane to park against, plus some overflow parking across the green. Its very quiet.
Could take 20 extra cars without too much struggle.
They have a marquee and a little garden.

I will have a chat and maybe I could get some discount or free soft drinks or something if we had enough bodies.

What do you reckon?

My local:

ahhh. Deanshanger aye.

I think I've been in there once when my girlfriends sister bought her house last year. They seemed pretty friendly
