The counter on the top of the page states that there are now 2,434 members on this site. Are you an official paid up member or not and do you actually own an Sx. Just want to see whos who on board.:)

Well 1 - 20 were reserved for the moderators/admins and then the rest of us got numbers on a date of joining type way. I think the mods posted recently how many members we were up to.
So the other 2K of people on this site are members but I wonder if theres actually 2k of 200's on this site- V doubtful I think:)

How many paid up members... good question Dave. Currently we are sitting at 330 fully paid up members. There are quite a few waiting to be registered. But in simple terms 1 in 7.5 people on here are fully paid up members :)

Well as of next week i will be a fully paid up, Owner of a S13 Pre Facelift, Gunmetal Grey standard car apart from the HKS SS Bov :D for at least this week... Plans are... K&N Induction, Nice Powerflow SS Exhaust, Boost gauge and Adjustable actuator... and Soon some Sweet Rims and Rubber... The front disks are slightly warped as you get a bit of shake through the wheel braking hard from 90 ;) But was gonna replace with some 300ZX Calipers and Disks... Nice head unit wont go amiss either... fancy a nice Sony MP3 one...
God i am never going to have any money ever again... Ah so what... My mate with a nice pulsar is also doing a BIG upgrade so i am going to nick his T28 and send it away to have 360Degreebearing/hybrid conversion... :D

So 330 members of the SXOC and there are ~2100 people registered on the forum. The mods do go through the list once in a while and weed out the registered users who have not logged on in ages but as you say I'm not sure how many of the total board population have 200's.
If you do own a 200 then It's only £15 a year, get your cheques in the post TODAY !!
unfortunately for me i own a bad bad, eeeevil one :(

Gone down the Toyota route at the moment , have had 3 modded S13's in the past though.
Tried to buy Cthugha's last night as well, but was pipped at the post :(
Any other modded S13's out there for resonable money will be intrested.

Like Steff I paid up as soon as bought S13 and started using site.

If you look at the members list ther are a good few hundred that havent even made one single post. I would say there was less than 1000 that use this board on a regular basis (once a week)
Maybe we should have a system like hotmail, where unless you are a paid up member then your account would be terminated after 3-4 months unless posts are made.:)

No I'm not a Nova driver, MG ZR160 (don't start calling me scrabbly either, it's a very nice car! 158bhp through the front tyres is fine!;)).
Anyhoo, I'm not like that, we get enough cr@p from CTR drivers on the MGR forum, I know what it's like to have gate crashers.
Anybody hating Novas is gladly welcome, this post is trying to gauge whos who on this site. Its not technically for persicution or victimisation( except for the nova massive):D :D :D :D :D

It's Ok - I haven't got divorced...
I've persuaded Mrs Ally to change her hatch for an estate :)
The way is now clear for me to have an S14 once my old Audi dies :)
A slow plan ... but one day it will be mine.

But no, the cheque has not been cashed, and no I haven't recieved or heard anything about it...
Uncanningly though, only about 5 mins ago I was checking my bank account, noticed that the cheque hadn't been cashed, and began my 'chriswantstobeamember' enquiries - hadn't even seen this thread:eek: Scary.

OK so i dont have an sx but only as i cant honestly afford one yet,,, but one day ill have me self an S14!
I did have a 100 NX T-bar for short time till it died and i now have an Almera SRi 16 valve 3 door with S14 black leather interior and more mods including R33 style rear lights . (nice fun car and affordable)
please note :- even though i drive a scrabbler !! i distance myself from the Nova /Mc Donalds crowd.

Whats the score with the strip joints in your area Ive never had such value for money. 10 dollars entry ( 3 quid back then) spot on) and quality birds aswell. Some of my best nights in Oz were in Melbourne and Sydney. Found Brisbane a bit dismal.;)

Just heard (independently from this thread) that my membership is currerntly being processed and I will recieve my goodies shortly, so i'm ticking the appropriate box :)
As Nathan states in post every bodies views are welcome on this site. A lot of owners on here love to here their cars praised when they have just whoooped someone who thought it was just some old Nissan that they were up against at the lights. However I draw the line at the Nova massive they have nothing to contribute here except stare in awe at the supremecy of this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since we all have meets around the country at different times does anybody think that one weekend out of the year, there should be an overall S13/S14 meet where we are not outnumbered by MR2's, Civics and Supras.
Maybe it should be the date where either the first S13/S14 first rolled off the production line, depending on which one rolled off the line between February and October. Perhaps then we may be able to put names and cars to faces etc..:cool:

Last year I think we had one of the largest amount of cars on the stand. I'm sure it will be even bigger this year.

We had 40+ cars at one point, we were only outnumbered by Supras and Zeds IIRC.
This year we have an 80 car plot :eek: :cool:
Everyone had to move their cars around so we could fit more on the stand as people just kept on coming.

Most of meets Ive been to apart from those with the SXOC have been heavily dominated by the Supra Army. Don't know where they all come from, but their turn out at a meet seems quite unreal. Wish I had a camera last time, there was silver upon silver supras twin tub - quite intimidating:cool:
I though I'd vote on the poll but Mr Thicky can't work out what to put. What's the difference between a paid up member and a member? Apart from the paying bit obvously. I mean, how do you become a member without paying? What about if you are a member who doesn't own an SX?
I own an SX and I'm currently waiting for my membership to the club to be processed, someone please tell me how to vote :D

They class the number of members as being around 2.4K yet there are only 320 odd people who have paid £15 for the privilage of using this site:D
So the poll asks have u paid 15 or not or do you visit this site being an owner or non owner( forgot to mention ex owners)
And by the way this is not done by a moderator they know everything, and this post is not here to victimise anybody ( execpt the nova massive).
This post is here to simply gauge how many Sx's are on this site and would it be feasible to Get approx 2K Sx in some form of convey, preferably middle england to keep southerners and northeners happy. :D :D

Is there really greater than 2000 owners of the SX out there. Since driving one over the last 12 months I've picked up on the car which I had never noticed before, it was always bigger brother 300ZX. The was it you post now tends to make me look out for them even more. Greatest non event day seen 6 in one day. So I know youre out there let us now.
Thought about leaving a business card on the cars advertising the SXOC since like me I'm sure thers quite a few driving around out there without a clue that this site exsists.

You forgot the club discounts and 1st dibs at being on the stands at shows. I made my money back in discounts in the 1st week of joining. this year's membership has actualy saved/earnt me £40, not bad realy :D

I could never state that the 200 is the second car and ive got 2others(cars not 200's).It may be my weekend car cos its not the workhorse.
I was ashamed of my pug gti, feckin fall apart frog machine-virtually gave it waay. But when it comes to novas then I cant post my views having had the privilage of not owning one or even wanting one,then i'll leave it to everybody else. but nova owners stay outta my way cos my bikes got more horeses than they could ever dream of, and off the lights well- see ya. :D :D

Don't have an SX (unfortunately) - nearly bought one, but after that didn't work out I kinda realised that the distance I commute plus a turbo plus my right foot would be expensive :)
Got a little MR2 Mk1 now though - no more scrabble!, and it actually uses less petrol than my 2.0 Laguna frogmobile.
Roundabouts are much more fun in the rain now...
I still lurk around here cos the conversation is quite lively and you lot seem like a nice bunch of people.

yep same here, sent cheque of 3 and a half months ago and got nada, not even been cashed :(
havent got a cheque book no more as i am on a different account so will try again whenever i remember to collar someone with a cheque book.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to accept payments by credit card or Paypal. Loads of people must have paypal accounts by now with Ebay.

I sent the Cheque weeks ago so I put "Paid up member" however it seems that the normal 2 month wait wont see me get a number until Feb ???

Shite, I didn't realise this thread was still going, someone must have been trawlling through the archives. I havn'nt been here for a while, me and the fireblade were nearly sent to heaven by a Rover 75 estate and Ive been out of action for a while.
When I first posted this about 7 months ago there were only 2.4K people on here and now theres nearly 4K-f**k!!!!!!!!!.
