with the tv and dvi etc.
how does £335 grab people?
more buys the cheaper if 5 people buy i'll knock £5 off £10 off if 20 people buy. ( i'll talk to them see if they'll do it for 10 ppl)
Would love to mate but Im skint :(
Dave
same here, yet i "accidently ordered" my self a few bits the other day
and they sent me the wrong graphics card i ordered an inno 128mb ddr GF4 mx440se + tv out
but i recieved an MSI 128mb ddr gf4 TI4200 vivo crazy thingy! woohoo! can't wait till i get that beastie running!
LOL! I've currently got a ti4600 which is tasty enough and I think it's currently my CPU holding me back (XP2100+ (Palomino). Giz a price for an XP2400+ would you mate?
Dave
I'd be interested in your old processor if its not been overclocked.
Mines an XP1800, not sure how much quicker the 2100 is in the real world.

I never bothered OCing it mate. It'd be quite a step up I believe. If gaming is your thing though, then a better vid card if you have a GF3 or older would be a better start.

Jeez, I've got an 8Mb Ati Rage Pro - woohoo.
On the ladder though, just got me new board and XP2100, 512Mb DDR RAM. Need graphics and sound now cos that's slowing the whole thing down, processors doing most of the graphics work I fear.
Mines a Radeon 8500 64mb which i think is fine for now.
Most gaming as i have a few laptops i use net and other stuff.

Yeah, you're not gonna get a huge increase either by changing video card / CPU alone as one of them will hold the other back.
For instance ...
I have
XP2100+ CPU
GF4 Ti4600 128MB
my mate has
XP2400+ CPU
Geforce3 64MB
Our systems are comparable with games etc. Mine has the edge in framerates in really modern stuff.
In the position you're in, I'd change CPU and vid card together :)
Dave
