As you may have guessed, he done a fair bit of damage to the Armco, he lost it coming out of Druids on the straight before Bailey bridge.

I think a westfield had an off too? It's a shame for the guy and I hope it doesn't put him off future trackdays. Fair play to him for being willing to push the car and himself to the limit though.

I'd of asked if i could have the front calipers since he'd already made a good start on breaking it :wack:

He hit the Armco that hard, it pushed a fair amount of it back at quite an angle, to the extent they had to end the trackday.

Was about 3:30pm ish at least though.

Was a bit of a mess and he was doing a fair lick when he his the barrier - you can see how far away the corner is to where the car finished - 90-100mph accident :(

Is Druids the apex right hander with lumpy bumpy exit?

Is Druids the apex right hander with lumpy bumpy exit?

Yep the double right hand apex, and a vicious little dip on the straight (been close to the armco in the wet myself there)

After you go up Clay Hill, under the footbridge, it's the right before you go under the main road bridge into the circuit.

..the corner also gets very very slippery in the damp / wet from the trees dropping sap on the track.

No doubt he is!!

I've seen 911 drivers at Brands without insurance  Wasn't too difficult to get past them when it started raining ;)

LOL - nice find Phil :D

At least if it's ended up at a salvage auction I'd imagine it must have been insured? :)
