Yeah there is a 2009 calender and merchandise but its in the members area. I agree with you though, it should be to the general public aswell.

TBH, if you've got that attitude, Go to WHSmith. :indiff:

People who enter into the SXOC spirit deserve things. I mean if you CBA to pay a membership fee then why should we give you merchandise for our club.

Enter into what spirit ? paying money ?

I think you will find that that is not entering into spirit but paying to be a part of something.
Entering into the spirit would be helping someone in need.
And i would hope that regular users of the site would do this regardless of being a paid up member or not.

I think you need to engage brain before typing too, that kind of response does not warm me to becoming a part of what you are involved with

This is the only year i have not been a member since owning a 200sx.

And people like you were a factor in me not renewing my membership in the first place oh and the members area or porn room as it should be called lol

And not to mention i don't even know what is in the calender for 2009 so im not paying £25.50 for something i have not even seen

Go to WH smith by all means

They wont however organise any events, they wont give you advise when things go wrong, they wont give you food and drink and help you put your tent up at 2 in the morning, they wont pay over 20k a year to run a club BB and populate it with some of the best folk you could ever wish to meet, they wont find a bunch of mad fools to take loads of stick while running it for free.

You will how ever be able to purchase a calendar of your choosing, as long as they don't go bankrupt :wack:

The mighty Baboon is somewhat of a legend in the South Wales SXOC. One of the most helpful and knowledgable guys about, ( besides me of course ;) ). All of us South Wales lot may have to have words with anyone who dares to criticise one of our beloved members for what was a jokey comment  Please get off your respective High horses and re discover a sense of humour  Now after all of that I'm off to :hurl:

Now that's a response

My WH Smith retort was perhaps a little uncalled for in hindsight :wack:

But does it not make sense to offer non members merchandise?
As i feel it could bring the club more finances to enable more activities/events to be arranged for the paid up members ?

This could also draw in more members to becoming paid up.

I will be renewing my membership before long though. I do want to attend some of the events with the SXOC this year, last year with the car being off the road i felt there was no point in using it solely to read the porn in the members section:wack:

I keep forgetting the outsiders are still bitter about having to pay to get into Wales :wack:
This then causes them to leave their sense of humour at the boarder ;)

Merchandise is exclusively for members, if it wasn't SXOC brollies etc would be replacing Subaru and Ralliart ones, and that'd be bollocks. :D
You're also missing the latest newsletter Nick, which has a rather nice feature on me in it, that's gotta be worth £15 by itself, LOL.

TBH I still pay my membership even though I have not had a 200 for over a year now, because I think that if you want to reap the rewards of the forum, the meets, etc you should pay your way towards it all.

No one on here can't afford £15 quid a year and that's a fact. To be resentful of paying 4p per day and then moan when you can't get acess to everything you want is a bit silly IMHO.

I replaced it, the last hop from isolator to shower was only 6mm anyway so was going to be be replaced with 10mm when I fit the bathroom, only that's not going to be for a while.
At least it's one les job that'll need doing then - 30 min job became a 4 hour one though, and a trip to TLC and Topps Tiles.

It might be worth considering offering 'club merchandise' to non-members at slightly inflated prices. When advertising showing a 'members' and 'non-members' price. This might encourage more people to actually pay for being on here.

Or just have a section showing what is available to purchase.

Not really fair,as mentioned, Nick does and allways has flung himself into the spirit of things, but then (Cornish voice mode on) your not from round her:D(Cornish mode off) so you perhaps may not have been in a position to appreciate this. Also I suspect its not a question of CBA but more of spending all his spare monies on hair care products.

As you probably guessed by now these can be obtained through re-joining the club.

Its not silly IMO, if your primery motivation is not profit.

And on another note as you can see below the calender had new formats this year and due to it also being a calander a limited number were ordered.

Or just have a section showing what is available to purchase.

Not a bad idea buddy, and in a sneeky way to resolve this matter heres a pic,

(well there will be one here as soon as I find one)

You re-join my greek chum:thumbs: and I'll buy you the frekin calender:wack::D

Edit: Dis reguard that as they for various reasons are unavalible after a cut off date that has elapssed. So pointless to put a pic up:wack:

why are most sxoc members a bunch of button bashers!! If theres something slightly out of line, theres some gimp at his computer ready to kick off!!

If anyone wants to buy a calander you can have one off me for £1.99. It includes a tree and a s14a!
