From Turbo Technics Website
Take two decrepid Reliant three-wheelers,one turbocharger, a box of nuts and bolts and a drag strip. Just how fast can a three-wheeler go?
When the BBC's Panic Mechanic team wanted the best Hybrid turbo, they called the experts. We design and build thousands of high performance HYBRID TURBOS, but this was one of the more unusual requests. Always ready to rise to the challenge, we designed and built a Hi-flow Garrett T25 with "Special TT components" to power the wildest plastic pig into the winners circle.
A standard Rialto would run 27sec,
standing quarters at about 50mph. With the Turbo Technics Hybrid Turbo, Saline Warrior crossed the line first with a time of 18.708 seconds, a terminal velocity of 82.87mph and 1.171 second reaction time. Not bad for a Reliant three-wheeler!
When it comes to building the best Hybrid Turbos - call the experts - Turbo Technics.

I remember seeing the series on the beeb last year was very funny...
The headline had me in tears:

It wasn't as funny once you find out the full story!

Anyone want a Robin. MY dad's still trying to sell the one I bought him as a birthday present.
Ungrateful old ...
:D
Are they front (1) or rear-wheel drive?
(Or are they of the kind on elastic where you pull them back and they shoot off?)

Managed to roll one once  :D
Quite Easy :D
Actually, if you try reversing at speed in one it handles much better. Would be an idea to fit the gearbox in backwards and go everywhere in reverse :D
No... well, just a thought :)
Then it becomes FWD, didn't think you'd be the one to promote that! :p :p

This is gonna sound nuts but back in the early '90's there was a guy who lived in March (a town down the road from me) that shoehorned a Saph cosworth engine in his Robin. It was supposed to be nuts.
Was in the local paper cos the police tried to catch him for running red lights but apparently never got him
Loon:rolleyes:
