......the Audioslave CD which is fecking superb. All the best bits of Soundgarden and Rage Against the Machine all rolled into one!
I also got the new Linkin Park CD which I have played to death. Is it me or are their some heavy Rush influences on the album? Some sections of the songs really remind me of Geddy Lee and some of the old Rush tunes.

QOTSA Rated R.

For some obscure reason, I go through these stages of listening to stuff that came out ages ago etc...

Agreed, and funnily enough i decided to listen to the Audioslave album again tonight, im on track 12 right now :) Some fantastic songs on there...

I bought Linkin Park's Meteora on the day of release and i really like it. Its similar to Hybrid Theory, granted, but differant and fresh enough to keep you hooked. "Fient" is awesome.

Also, Finch have scored highly with me recently. "Letters to You" and "Perfection Through Silence" are my current faves, but the album is great!

me too mate, it's a sign of two things
a) that they weren't just a fad, and
b) that a lot of music at the minute is shite, I sometimes have to go WAY back to find something worth listening too.
