Someone mentioned on a different post something about dump valves being bad for your engine, is this true?
He said something about sending the ECU crazy when the dump valve releases the pressure as it has already compensated for it.

Dump valves are fine.. anyone that tells you any different is making it up! When you take your foot off the accelerator, and get the tshhhhhhhh, on 200sx, the fuel is cut off, so there is no problem with being too rich, too weak or somewhere inbetween!
I have had a ND one fitted for nearly a year without the slightest hick-up. No mods to the car at all.
All it does is release the pressure the turbo creates WHEN THE THROTTLE IS SHUT. As soon as you open up again, fuelling will be measured accordingly... Sounds nice.. protects the turbo if your running high boost (from shattering) so wel worth the £130! http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

Hope this helps.
