No Tony it isn't you this last race was just like last years and the year before. Utter crap. The sooner Ferrari are taken down a peg or two the better.

Still watch it though. But I did fall asleep halfway through.  :D :D :D :D

Usually watch the start and hope for some fun at the first corner, the Brazilian was good, yeah but it was back to normal again today.People will switch off in droves if it continues like that,no overtaking =no fun.

Well if you think its shit now, wait till next year when all the toys get taken away, then Schumacha is gonna piss off into the distance even further!!!!

After all there are ONLY two people on the planet, including a large number of F1 drivers, who can lap faster with the traction control OFF in the Ferrari Enzo, Micheals on of them, and the cheif developement testers the other (and schumy was doing it straight from the bag unlike the test driver).

I though the GP was excellent! :D

Yeah, it kinda makes me angry that people slate F1 so much. I'm an avid fan, have been for roughly 15 years, and I'm still riveted to my seat every other weekedn watching both qualifying sessions and then the race.

All this debate about "bringing Ferrari down a peg or two" is really utter nonsense, they do not need to be brought down, to do so would be to harm the sport. What NEEDS to happen is for all the other teams to attain Ferrari's level in the sport. If people carry on arguing the point that Ferrari are making the sport dull by being the pinnacle of it, then the message beig sent out to the other teams is that if you reach a point where you are the best, you will be thought badly of, frowned upon and then ultimately people will call for changes which are only designed to bring about your downfall. I totally disagree with that.

What I do agree with, is a total intolerance for what Ferrari have been guilty of especially last season in realtion to *fixing* races. That is bad and that certainly does damage the sport.

The new rules have been introduced this year to make the sport more competative, great idea! The only problem that people are undoubtedly going to have is that Ferrari can and have adjusted their game to cope with the changes, and then outshine the other teams. For me, Ferrari in the year 2002 going into 2003 are one of the best outfits I have ever seen gracing the paddock at an F1 event. Thats it, nothing else, they are simply too good for the other teams. Sceptics may call into question the fun of the race for spectators, yes, but I (as an avid spectator) enjoy watching other teams trying to beat them. This is what it's all about. Eventually someone will beat them, its the natural course, but until then the sceptics will slate the sport, funny how no-one slated the Premiership when Man U had total dominence!!!

This year will turn up some funny results, but you cannot take anything away from Ferrari for showing they are still the leaders of the pack and Michael for showing (under extreme circumstance I may add) that he IS one of the all-time great drivers ever to grace the F1 scene.

Oh BTW, just for the record my favourite team is McLaren, favourite all-time driver is Damon Hill and my favourite current driver is DC. I'm not a Ferrari *fan* nor a Michael Schumacher fan, given what he and my all-time favourite driver went through ;)

Its been the first "boring" race of the season which isn't too bad, especially compaired to previous years. The quali is much better with the new rules IMO.

Dunc.

Watching it on French TV yesterday made me appreciate just how good ITVs coverage is, expecially Martin Brundle.

Can't stand that tw@t James Allen though, all statistics and ponce

caught the highlights last night. wasnt that bad was it? I mean the top 4 ended within seconds of each other. Last time I watched it (ie last year) thre was like 2 laps between M Schumacher and the 2nd place!
