Bodyshops near Blackwood

My welcome to December was sealed a week ago when I parked up to walk into work. It's a nice quiet and wide residential road, I thought, it's a safe place to park, I thought.

:no: I was wrong.

Someone reversed out of their driveway and straight into my car :rolleyes:

I'm trying not to be angry about it, since they did the right thing and left a note on my car with their details on it. I called up Helphire and they started going through a few things, asked me to go to a bodyshop for a quote, Jones Bramley Coachworks in Newport, so I potter down. The next day I call for the good news. :no: Not good news, they've decided it's going to cost £1336 to fix, so they've decided they can't claim that off the third party because they think my car is worth less than a grand (HAH).

What the heck? £1336? It's dented the front wing and scraped the side of the bumper! How the hell can that cost that much to fix?

So now the search is on for some more body shops to find me three quotes to take directly to the third party's insurer. I know of one nearby, but there's something about them that makes me feel kinda nervous leaving my car there.

Any ideas for somewhere reputable?

theres a guy whos pretty resonable in six bell's think its called six bells paintshop or somethin?? if your looking for cheap then there are loads up tredegar

theres one right by buffys place which by looking at evilchaps project look awesome, they did a sweet job on his engine bay

Jones Bramley Coachworks is a rip off and there work is no good at all half the time im sure they make up qoutes to get the car wrote off so they dont have to do the work theres a place on prince street in newport that just did my cuzes car for him charged 1200 for a full re spray fitted a body kit took loads of dents of his car all for that price and must say the paint job was 100 percent perfect

Yep I've also seen the bodywork done in the garage oposite stealth performance and it is top notch! I'd happily have my car done there.
