I've just been having a look through past posts and thought I'd find out when we launched the various ECU upgrades... Turns out I've been doing this far far too long!! Took me over 2 years to figure out the S14a ECU as well!

S14 stage 1 - 15/10/2002

S14a stage 1 - 10/12/2004
S14/S14a stage 2 - 11/3/2005
S14/S14a stage 3 - 27/5/2005
S14/S14a stage 3a - 11/2/2007

In what way is the S14a stage 2a going to differ from 2? Will it be just a newer map with a tubular manifold or will it need any extra stuff?

Is the maps between the old orignals and the newer a's in each stage much different? Or is it just a few refinements?

It'll be normal stage 2 stuff plus H-Dev manifold, and an adjustable actuator so you can maintain 1.2 bar boost to the red line.

They're more refined and should give better performance.

How much labour would you charge to fit one of your nice and shiny manifolds?

Its about 5 hrs to remove the manifold, remove the turbo fit it to a new manifold and then refit the turbo and manifold to the engine. So £249.99+VAT. You may also need new gaskets, locking tabs etc and we recommend fitting braided hoses at the same time, if you've not already got them
