Total disaster of a day, Picked the crank/main bearings/b.end bearings up. I need front and rear crank oil seals, travelled the world trying to get a Nissan Dealer to sell some to me. Some asked for Chassis numbers, Some asked for Engine numbers, Some stared at me blankly.

Does anyone in the know, know whether there are a few different types of crank oil seal?! I would have thought a CA18DET had a standard fitment for such a stupid part. I was freaking out by t-time and have thrown the crank and brace back in anyway, but i need some effin seals before i can put the oil pump and flywheel back on. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif

Tired, oily, angry.

Chimp, the back (rear) oil seal is a standard part I just said I had a 90' 200sx at my local nissan garage, cost about £8. As for the front it fits in the oil pump and costs about £4 .I really cant see why your having problems?

I KNEW ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

Right, this makes me mad. Either a) me and you are wrong. Or b) Dealers are total retards, without exception.

Except yours, clearly

Maybe try phoning my garage and ask them to give you the part number,or pay by card and ask them to send them?
