With a humungous glob of torque thrown in. I think they're about 650 lb ft - quite good for a 7.75 litre engine:)

When you get it back together, have a go in it. You'll be amazed how over two ton of metal can move. Used to drive one for over 18 months. Not as quick as a 200 but not far off. Just glad that I didn't have to pay for the fuel.   :D :D :D :D

Year mate, they are quick, I have driven it quite a few times, and it weighs nearly 3 tonnes:eek:

After having worked on that V8 for 3 days, its gonna seem easy working on the ca18det afterwards:D

Is that a V8 or a W8?? aren't the cylinders at the wrong angle for a V8??

I was minding my own business going down the A24 the other day doing around ;) 70mph and a Turbo R came up behind me. I knew I would not be able to have it so I pulled over to see what he could do. His accelleration from *** to 130 was astounding and the weird thing was that you could hardly hear the engine at all, it just glided effortlessly into the distance.

Ettore Bugatti once said "Bentley - the fastest Lorry in the world" :)
I was in me local garage the other day and there was a Roller in for MoT - I got to have a good look round it. They are like a big car X2 - everything is enormous!! There must be an inch thick of sound deadening round the engine bay, the wheels were off a 747, the radiator wouldnt have looked out of place in a house - just immense vehicles.
Rolls royce never used to give power figures on the 6.75 lump - they described the output as "adequate" on on the blown Bentley versions it was "more than adequate". Nice
