Greenlight aren't to ace m8.

I am with them now and I would steer clear this next year.

25 quid a week for each week you want to cover a courtesy car when ures is in the garage. For a max of 4 weeks (shagged if its an engine rebuild then)

Charged me 70 quid for declaring a zorst and cone filter.

Don't like their credit agreement at all either.

Compare that to my mate who is on the MR2 club insruance scheme.

Can do any mod that is cosmetic and not be charged.
Free track day cover.
Courtesy car cover inc etc.

I would second that.

I was with CIS who wanted £586 (No Mods declared and a nightmare to try and get them declared !!).

I got a quote from Greenlight who advised a premuim of £509 (All mods declared, lgal expenses extra[ £17.50], excess £300).
After paying deposit £107.80 and receiving paperwork it would appear I was going to pay 11 months @ £45.28 (Advised 10 months on the phone).
This would mean a total of £605.88 !!!.

Promptly changed to Insure-Shop via Rob Wastegate who were excellent. (Had a £25 cabncellation fee with Greenlight and waited about a fortnight for the balance of my deposit back

Rob also advised policy with Insure Shop had Legal cover and free Breakdown Cover (Freeway rescue) all for a total sum of £450 (around £500 if paid up).

I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Cheers

Alan
