you'll be lucky to find anywhere in surrey! if you want somewhere decent to practice you will need to travel

in kent you have lydd but will have to be quick booking cos it has a good following or there is lydden hill which is one of the best places if not the best to drift (bdc set-up is wicked)

santa pod has loads of days

im off to norfolk arena on the 6th december to go for my bdc licence should be a good day.

if you find anywhere let me know:thumbs:

whats a bdc licence andy????
seems i got to travel a bit then:(
i am a complete novice at drifting hence why i want lots of practice, would it be stupid to pay to go to an organised drift day somewhere or are they normally for experienced people??

AFAIK DWYB at Santa pod caters for novices as well as more experienced drivers. I quite fancy going to one of these - just never get round to doing it

Can't imagine Dunsfold being cheap! But if its reasonable count me in.

Get a couple of Pod days under your belt then get yourself to Lydd, its a really cool track.

I wouldn't suggest Lydden until you have had a bit of practice and build up confidence a bit.

Dunsfold will cost an arm and a leg. IIRC someone from here enquired a few years back and was a quoted a hefty sum.

its not actually that bad i spoke to sum one today at dunsford and to hire the track its 1500 for the whole day which with 20 people its 75 each but there is a down side thay do not allow drifting and only one on the track at once below is the contact details if anyoneelse fancies a go at blagging then

I think this should be done, what are the chances of making it a Sunday though as I work every other day. I will get the ball rolling. 20 people needed

Not me, i can't drive in a straight line and would get asked to leave instantly. 1 car on track and no drifting counts me out.
