Something that my mate did with his Ford Puma club was the group met up at a pub usually, spent a couple of hours all chatting, having a meal etc, then went out on a convoy drive.

I attended one back in janurary (was proud to be the odd one out, its amazing how good an S13 looks lined up with 30-odd Pumas!) somewhere East Midlands Airport, and the organiser had a map with a circular route planned out, that had places to stop on the way around to take pics etc.

I'm thinking of doing something similar, we all meet up somewhere, then have a convoy drive around some good roads in the area.

To start things off though, I'd like to know you're favourite roads to drive on in the county, so if you could state the section of road you like (eg A1234 from Town X to Village Y) I can build a picture up of a possible route which links as many of those roads, and then try to get something on paper.

Just to get things started with a couple of suggestions:

A423 between Banbury and Southam
B4011 between Bicester and Long Crendon
B4100? between Thame and Postcombe
A361 between Banbury and Daventry

Not necessarily all even in Oxon per se, just roads that I drive or used to drive regularly; might get people thinking though.

Why not plan a route that takes you to the oxford side of Reading so we could all meet up at a pub at the end of your journey?

Oxford is only 20 mins away from Reading and there are a fair few nice roads between:thumbs:
