I need one of these for my stereo...

Can give you exact size based on the components once i work out exactly what they are. (its about 2.5cm high)

Get some board / acid etching thing?

No idea how to do it ,don't want the hassel.

you get like a little acid bath and boards covered in copper. You then draw out the circuit you want to keep on the board in something acid resistant (you get it with the kit I think) then you stick it in the acid. It eats away all the other copper and you're just left with the traces you marked out :)
