If you care to read my results in the other section I'm sure you can work it out  :p
44.5 hp loss.
Running on 205/55 zr15 of the finest F1 rubber :D
No doubt it would have been more if I never freed off my handbrake cable the other week.
Doobergoose does seem to have a hell of a lot of loss. But I'm sure I heard him make reference to a binding brake?? I wouldn't have thought his flywheel would make anyodds as it aint affected by friction. I may be wrong though.
There seems no pattern to the power loss. Does everyone have an LSD fitted? I would expect LSD equiped ones to have the most loss
No, pre facelift cars ie mine doesnt have lsd

My binding rear brake isn't too bad and wouldnt that have affected the overall bhp anyway, which as my chip is only supposed to fuel to 279bhp, I don't think it did.(affect bhp)
53bhp lost :(
I've got an LSD and i could have trouble with my rear brakes too, but it wasn't making the noise on the rollers that i usually hear from the road... but that's another story:rolleyes: ;) :D

I lost 79bhp about 35% due to 4wd.
I understand the scooby tranny design is 30 years old. That may have a bearing on the large loss.
Cheers
Kenny
I lost 99 bhp through the transmission but still managed to get more at the wheels than my old 2 *****!
205 bhp @ the wheels 4WD  :D

I nearly lost the same as you Kenny, somethings not right with my drivetrain to loose nearly as much as a 4wd.

I lost 45bhp too, seems the norm...... Martin, is it possible they made an arse of something setting up the RR with your mota? It did take 3 goes to get your car through and there doesn't seem to be any reasonable explanation for your tranny loss  .
Clutching at straws, I know.......
58BHP, that's with an auto tranny and 245 width rear tyres.

Maybe the binding brake wouldn't affect the power as much as the drag. We get cars coming through the workshop every other day with binding brakes, does not seem to affect how well they go, but try pushing them about in the workshop and you get half killed!!!!
I lost 490bhp, so with 205bhp at the wheels I still beat Kev!
uh?
hang on a minute
no, it was 49bhp losses, duh!
