Do you sell Turbo jackets? I'm after one to fit my Greddy TD06 20G top mount.

Hi,

Sorry we do not sell turbo jackets however we can ceramic coat turbine housings which more effective.

How much to cermaic coat the housing then? Does the coating last?

Hi,

Ceramic coating is about £165 + vat (in white) and yes it does last, it said to keep under bonnet temps down by up to 30 degrees and helps with spool up too.

Regards

If you knocked the vat off I might be interested :D
How long do you need the turbo for?

Hi,

As you are a fully paid member then you would get a 17% discount so yes, i guess we can waiver the VAT.

Bobbit, being somewhat challenged, suggested a competitor.

Hi Jezz s13,

Lol! Ah thanks that explains it, cheers for the support. The finishing is expensive i know but its the same people who do all the F1 gear so it's top quality stuff and won't chip off like other "competitors".

really is worth doing if you're after lowering underbonnet temps imo. - i kept on melting the tape on my wiring loom :wack:

sorry just trying to help but of course the ceramic coating is the best option as some people say that the turbo cooks inside the jacket like a potato or a cooked disco potato in some cases!! turbo dynamics are huge . i would never question them :)

any chance the colour will discolour?

ive seen a few that have had a red coating and gone pink or a white one that went cream?

TurboDynamics

Hi,

They dont really discolour due to any heat, but they do pick up dirt and pollutants from under the bonnet and this can alter the colour, in addition the white is kind of an off white anyway.

Hi Blaktooth,

I would budget for at least a week and a half for the ceramic coating as it is a very lenghty process.

Is it just the exhaust side that is coated?
