well after selling my 1st 200sx creation and then circumstances changed ment i couldnt buy the ps13 id wanted (credit crunch:() i thought long and hard and the only car i really wanted was my old 1 back:cry: but that werent an option so went out and bought this little beauty from "bigjon"

its got bags of potensial and 312bhp:whip: so its a good start:nod:

this is by no means gonna be a enigne out and lavished with ££££££ because if id had the money id have got the ps13 but this will be a "budget build" with small minor tweeks, iron out all the crease's, lots of elbow grease and generally make look and go how id like it.

so heres how she currently looks at the mo, and the mods will be starting asap:D any views good or bad are welcome:thumbs:

me and the boys desi drift (jin) and mejulie (rav) had been working hard to and firstly id like to say a BIG THANK YOUto them both, cheers boys:nod::thumbs:

today we fitted apex gen 2's, engine damper, and a few minor tweeks like taking off the :ghey: mudflaps and de bricked her:D, so heres a few before and after piccys. monday the new wheels are going on so watch this space:nod:

You'l be getting another virtual kick up the arse if you have swapped the forged rims for Rotas :no: :p

I'm eager to see how its ends up though, should be a good 'un :)

Oh, and just to offer some criticism, the low'ness of the rear gives the car an uneven look, i had the same issue with mine, i wanted it that low but the only option was to lower the front to match and loose shed loads of steering lock as the wheels rubbed against the arch liner, or raise the rear a little.. i went for the latter and enjoyed the extra speed bump clearance too :)

firstly id like to say aBIG THANK YOU to phil of archenemy, the guys work is awsome, really thorough a true crafts man and excellent value for money, he comes highly recomended,

and finally all rolled and fitted the new boots, the general reaction is very "marmite" some people really like it and others have said they hate it (inc the mrs), im really happy with the look taking in to account its only been a few weeks into the build and ive got lots more planned.

i will be raising the rears slightly and lowering the fronts a smidge and also got toe and camber arms coming but for now im sure i can live with it like this:nod::D

na al, it looked much worse than it actually was, the arch kept its shape and its just a small patch of surface paint which will need a touch up, bar that its fine, pics are a bit dark ill get some better ones hen some more mods go on:thumbs:

As far as rota's go it looks good mate:wack: Ive not seen et12 torques on a black 14a before in white so at least your being different:nod: I still cant get why you would have them over R34 gtr wheels but thats all down to personal preference and what makes it "your" car:thumbs: just dont put any work stickers on them.....please:D

I think you should have got some grey GTRs with a red lip! lol
That looks really good. Will look even more aggressive when the front is lowered.
Personally I think these look better than the R34 GTR wheels. Ok, so the GTR wheels are forged and maybe lighter but does it really matter for a road car?

P.S have to rate Phil of Archenemy. Has provided me with a lot of advice too

I think the extra width of the Rotas and the low offset set them apart from the R34 GTRs in this case which would need some spacers etc to look this good

Watching this car drive down the road ahead of you is quite something, its so low and rude :D and thats after we took it up approx 10mm at the back

Once he's corrected the camber there may even be room for a small spacer :)

The rusty lip side wasn't as bad as it might have been but it prevented going for a flare :(

just shows if you get the offsets and tyres on your rotas right you can still have something very good

fitted mejulies coilees today and managed to adjust my ride height, lowered the fronts 10mm and raised the rears 15mm, the back hardly looks any different in all honesty but its now got a more level stance all be it a tad lower:thumbs:

Good stuff. Looks really good. Gonna lower mine more this weekend if ain't raining. Do you know the measurements between the collars for the front and rear cos I thats pretty much the same stance I want to give mine.

Oh and what cleaning products did you use on the seats. they came out really well

the rears are 200mm between collars and i cant remember the fronts i think it was 185mm

and cleaning products where autogleam de greaser !!! thats how gound in the dirt was, then a autogleam leather cream

picked up my lightened and balanced flywheel yesterday thanks to stuart @ KEN RILEY ENGINEERING (top bloke) and dave270r for his old flywheel, hopfully gonna fit this and my new exedy clutch over the weekend:thumbs:

today fitted a new clutch, the lightened and balanced flywheel and my new exhuast :thumbs: AND registered my D1 RWD plate yesterday so thats gone on aswell

so off with the old exhaust and box

i ran exactley the same clutch in my last 14a for well over 18months which was stage1 and gave i it plenty of abbuse, hard launch's and the odd clutch kick or 3 so im sure itll be fine, but thanks for your help.:rolleyes:

Looks like a Works Bell boss or a Splash copy...

I got a Works Bell short boss through the other day to go with my quick release...good piece of kit!:nod:

no, but all ive done was removed the speedo cluster pulled the face of the rev counter forward and covered it with black tape, job done:thumbs:

well seeing as the car is now sold and will be going friday, just thought id say its been good fun doing up another 14a and i hope this one is enjoyed by the new owner as much as ive enjoyed modding it.:nod:

this is probably been the quickest project build then sold car ever, anyway its the end for this one.
