View Full Version : FAO anyone from Plymouth
Finally found a decent garage in plymouth, Mercare near the aquarium. Took the 200 in for a starter motor change (at last!) today and it took about an hour and cost £30.25 inc VAT. Fast friendly and did some good work.
BTW andy was that you on the Cattedown roundabout? Damson S14??
Good news on the garage, decent garages around here are few and far between.
Wasn't me down Cattedown, been on holiday all week and done nothing. :D Also I've cleaned and polished the car inside and out, and I don't want to get it dirty now  :D
Yeah, they mostly deal with Mercedes, BMWs and posh cars of that sort. They did a good job and for a very reasonable price and the lads seem to like 200's! Just make a note of your mileage just in case!LOL
Rob
Mumfords are getting better, as long as you speak to the right people.
They are quite happy to work on our cars even though they are modified, and when Hayley's car went in for a service (mainly to keep the stamps up) they were quite happy to put in our supplied oil, and more importantly didn't do anything on the "don't touch this" list.
Got an exhaust gasket from them when i had my goose fitted (by rapid fit at marsh mills) Quite expensive tho i thought. Rapid fit were good for the exhaust BTW, Took them about 4 hours to get theold one off! LOL and another hour to fit the new one, No probs and it only cost about £40, not bad for 6hours of someones time!
LOL
I can't beleive they were willing to fit your exhaust, usually places like that don't want to know. Nice price though :)
Yeah he was all
No problem at all sir, It should only take an hour, bring her in at 4pm.
6.30pm
