At the rolling road day me and matt gt pressed a few buttons to see if we could sort out what could be a potential problem with the boost controller. worked fine there no problem. got back to castle motors and pressed a couple more dont know what he pressed or did. Got to the m4 and panted it in 3rd and realised I had no BOOOOOOST just actuator pressure. I think the readings are not what they used to be. Doing my head in now and scared a saxo can do me like a kipper . does anyone know what they are doing that could have quick a look see. I texted matt but he has nt got back to me, might be away or something. I have no clue how it works or what the buttons do. I m more of a turn the key put petrol in and it works kinda of guy:rolleyes: want my car to be fast again .......

oi jon your still getting a phone call sweet cheeks, I have nt forgottern you xx :):ghey: any chance of a photo of how bad the laquer is on the door, I still want a replacement, and he might not be able to work out what the problem is! He has nt got back to me yet. You are quite a way out, thats the only problem, and that drive will be better with booost rather than without.
you about sunday?

girth it definatly is not turned off its the measurements its reading in I'm sure of it

Is there a posibility your actuator is shagged?

(Though I would almost expect it to spike if it was, unless the AVCR is stopping that from happening).

One sure way to diagnose and fix it is to bring it to the next Rolling Road day:sxoc:

It will still show all the gauges etc.... but you can set it too off.

Means u can get some sort of fuel economy without being on full boost by 3k rpm :wack:

to check boost setting A, B etc
click prev 3 times to get to ain page with monitor and setting on it
cursor down to setting then cursor right to select a or b or cursor left to turn off.
to view the settings then press next.
to change the boost then select boost/duty
cursor down and right to highlight the % bit and cursor up to increse boost.

Cant remember how to change to kg/cm2 though :(

duty is effectively how much air the solenoid leaks away from the actuator bud, you dont wanna go much over 70% though as the solenoids life span will be reduced as it will get too hot
