Struuth! Those V8s are bad to the bone.
Another vote for the Holdens from me
I was lucky enough to have been at Bathurst for the 1993 Tooheys 1000 race, was there Friday,Saturday & Sunday, was awesome, the noise of a V8 Supercar flat out along conrod straight makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up! :D
The atmosphere is amazing too & if you think some of the antics people get up to at Le Mans is close to the mark then you won't believe what drunk Aussies get up to (or mybe you will! lol)
:D

Ive always wanted to go see this race ever since I first watched it on tv when I was a little kid in the 1980's, TWR XJS's, BMW M3, 635CSi's, Cossy RS500's, R32 GTR's then the V8's :notworthy :smitten:
Official meb stream for those without $ky: http://v8supercar.bigpond.com/live_race_engine/races.aspx Watched the last round on this and the cars get out of sync with the telemetry, but its free so cant complain.
Practice on 11pm GMT Tonight.

And did I see Matt Neale on the grid??
he was on the grid but spent most of his time in the gravel :wack:
Giovanardi was there aswell :)
last 10 laps were ace, some of the camera work was amazing
One of my friends lives in Bathurst a little under a mile from the track. They said the V8s sound like bees in the distance. Really BIG bees!
I loved the camerawork too, especially the overhead camera down the esses, the boom camera, and some of the shots from the helicopter looked amazing.
