Just wondering, as I used to race in the british championships years ago and I am thinking of starting up again now funds allow http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

Let me know if you can give any advice on the scene nowadays. For anyone who does it or knows their stuff, I am going 100 TKM.

Thanx.

by years ago, was that back when they were clutchless, and you had to have a hefty mate to bump start you by lifting the back of the kart and running....

those were the days... http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/wink.gif

You still do on the 100cc series, I have a great big scar on my forarm to prove it http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif pushed team mate of engine started he shot off and I hit the deck, very embarasing. done the endurance a couple of times and needed about 30 gallons of drink afterwards.
Funniley enough I got maild this todayat work.
Is anyone interested in attending any of the following activities?

- Initial Trial at Brands Hatch - 6 laps with instructor in Audi TT,
following by 10 laps in the Formula Audi Single Seater (fingertip gear
change, not the old Formula Fords). £105 weekday, £145 weekend.

- Test Day, 100CC Karts - between now and September. Cost approx £110
for 1 hour non-stop kart racing.

- Endurance Racing, 100CC Karts, with me, Chris and Hasse - cost £65+.

Yes, by years ago, I do mean when they were all push start. Its been that long that I remember Jenson Button as an 8 year old Cadet in his 1st races.

I feel old now http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif
