Hello,

I am thinking of consolodationg my debts. Car loan, Credit Card (due to Wedding) Weddings = bloody expensive!!!.

Anyone had any good or bad experiences?

I am either going to go with Tesco/Sainsburys/Cahoot as they seem to be good apr's.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Jeff

If you are a home owner then increasing your mortgage is probably the cheapest way to borrow (as long as you wouldn't face a redemption penalty and actually have some equity in the house) ;)

Otherwise the cheapest personal loans I've seen are 6.7% with some of the smaller companies (search google for 6.7% APR Personal Loan). Cahoot at 7% is pretty good and they are quite flexible compared to others :)

I went with Intelligent Finance - seemed pretty cheap and you can do the whole thing over the internet.

I would have gone with Cahoot, mind, but you have to be 21 :(

Greta thing about cahot though is they just give you a creit limit. Once you've paid a bit off you can take some more out at any time. You can also vary your payments if you're a bit strapped for cash some months.

Another vote for Cahoot.

Had a loan and credit card for a few months and no problems. Have raised repayments so stop myself modding the car but can cut them back down any time I'm feeling skint.

They also have a "web card" which generates a single-use-only credit card number. Good for buying bits over the phone as well as internet.

(no, I don't have shares)
