What, for 30-40k?
Don't laugh at me, but:
Vauxhall VX220 Turbo :D
0-60 in 4.7 secs, go-kart handling and RWD :D :D
TVR Tuscan, or whatever it is that you can buy for 40k, or a honda S2000
Nissan 350z of course
But I'd buy it from Nismo so I wouldn't have to pay extra for the mods as they would already have been done:p:p:p:p:p:p
LOL:D:D:D:D:D

An Evo may have similar performance to an M3 but it's too bouncy. With the 3, you get performance and refinement.
Of course, all mention of the dreaded letters B, M & W would have to be removed as well as that godawful blue and white propeller b0llocks

:D :D
How's an Alpina B3 3.3 sound? :D

Could you get a new M3 for £40k I thought they were about £50k+.
I'd get a TVR or an EVO VII

I'd get a saxo cos it can beat everything on the road :D *washes mouth out with soap*
Nah, as it has to be new I'd buy 40 grands worth of mini's then flog em off and buy a second hand DB7
Land lubbers...

IF I had the money, time and a local airfield that was cheap for hanger space...

M3s start at £36000.
And then there's the options........ ;)
heres my list( with aid of auto trader 30-40k and chose what i wanted)
Tuscan Speed 6
NSX 3.2
DB7
911 3.4 carrea (but i don't like porsches so this is bottom of list)
Griffith 500
Bentley R Type Turbo
bolox i forgot all about the new bit!
If I had 40K it would be a long hard thought out choice between an S2000, new Impreza Facelift WRX STi, Mitsi Evo 7 that will leave me with a little extra cash, or I could use all of the 40K and get a TVR chimaera, or as The Lotus Elise and 350z both cost 25K i could buy one of them and also buy a Civic Type-R at 15K and that makes 40K :D
Its hard, but I would mostly go with the 350z/Elise with the Type-R or Scooby/Mitsi choice.
Your forgetting the obvious...
I'd build an Ultima, and have change!!! - well no actually I wouldnt, have to buy dry sump kit and fuel injection!
(that wasnt predictable now was it!)

WRX STi series type RA spec C or S202 STi

Cerbera 4.5 just sneaks in at £39754... That's with no options at all tho :)
Edit: Although the website lets you choose your own car.... Mine turned out as £52440 after adding that funky paint and a Hydratrack LSD and some other bits :( Best get checking me piggy bank :(
Edit 2: oooo finance options :D

I would moosey on over to Prospec's website and buy one of the GTR's on their stock list :)
Was DROOLING over the cars on offer today at work.
Skyline
GTR
VSpec II
NUR
Anything large enough to carry my substantial harem.
Having said that, a Humvee would be nice. Just to have one. That would show the barstweards who cut me up a thing or two.
Don't know how much they really cost tho. So I'd prolly have to sleep with someone influential to get the cost down a bit :(
I'd quite like an Exige... :)

I'd have to agree on that one.
Chevrolet Corvette 5.7 V8 :D
Then again, an original GT40 would be nice....
Why does everyone want a TVR? They are ferking awful things, with only an engine to recommend them. Everything else breaks or falls off!!!
(they threatened to sue my last company for reporting that an owner got locked in and out of his own car and lost control over the windows one day...)

TVR T350C :lick: ;)
Doesn't matter about the shoddy build. They look, go and sound fantasticly. And I've put my money where my mouth is ;)

The M Coupe is NOT a hairdressers car, it is one of the most serious, drivers cars on the planet and could well out drift most modded SX's
