Just wondered! I missed the santa pod one and wondered if anyone knew of another soon. Really want a go but preferably not a track one as I'm a complete 100% novice and need lots of space to not crash into! :D

Theres another pod one on wednesday (8th), one at the end of the month on sat 25th too - both beginner days with nothing to hit but cones :)

Pod days are for every level, well suited to beginners. I'll be there on the 25:).
http://www.driftworks.com/forum/other-news-events/ Is always worth a look. Lydd is a cool track but not beginner friendly.

Dont listen to the "Advanced" "Beginers" thing at the pod, the only thing that changes is the main track. You still have the smaller kidney tracks for learning!!

There are allways plenty of marshalls there who will sit in with you or drive your car to give you friendly pointers.

I had some really good tips and advice last time which has really helped.

There are a variety of tracks so you can progress through them as your skill level increases.

Hehe, Ive never been a passenger in an underpowered car like mine being drifted well before.

I didnt mind at all, it wasnt that bad. :rolleyes: It showed me whats possible in it, saying that though I wouldnt lend my car to him for any length of time.... :wack:

Yeah, if you want Lex to have a go in your car, expect it to be 'used'.

Tyres are easy to get, you can use my jack, just the insurance to sort :thumbs:

I was there in the red s13 which looked like it fell off a skip lorry. Think I saw your car now I think about it but I was more worried about why oil was pissing all over the turbo and smoking out the engine bay!!

Had great fun out on the top track, I had a quick blast on one of the kidneys but the queues were quite big - think some people were taking the piss with the track time :S
