Meet this saturday, 15th November. same place, same time, same people ? :)
Original PostFigured i'd do a slightly earlier one this month, that leaves us with mid November (15th?) meet and then the chrimbo meet on the 13th of December to round of the year :) :thumbs:
y'all know the time and the place but for any n00bs it'll be around 2-3pm onwards @ The Monkey Puzzle, outside Chessington world of Adventures.

I'll be there, wont be able to bring the SX though as insurance doesnt start till the 16th :(.
The GF has confirmed that we aren't doin anything so we will both be there :D
/Edit I may be there a bit late as i have just remembered i am playing golf at 12ish, should be there for 5ish though (that is if ppl are still there)
I should be ok to attend. May have to take the Mazda now it's getting wintery :ghey:

The last couple i have got there for about 2:15-2:30, though i believe Stidi and Shadow are there pretty much dead on 2. I am going laser-questing in the evening so i will get there for 2ish as i will need to leave by 6 to get down to Guildford.
in that case i might be able to go for abit. think i'll try and clean the car abit first, it looks like its been ploughing fields :o
will be nice to see others from here, i never seem to see any of the cars out and about.

Good to see you all again guys and girls, really enjoyed it.
Have done my first temporary fix (no doubt of many) for the middle bonnet strut. Have taped it to the down as best i can and attached it to the one next to it with string :thumbs:.
Cant believe i made the joke about gaffa tape and actually needed some, will give that welding guy a ring on monday to see if he can fit me in.

The bonnet mod seems to have worked as there was no flexing during tonights, erm, enthusiastic run to Guildford :nod:

Haha, well the centre strut that goes down and is bolted to the chassis has rusted through, so the bonnet catch flexes up and down so when driving faster than about 50mph, the bonnet flexes up and down.
Is a right pain, as i have the MOT on tuesday so have a number of a guy who welds so will try and get it sorted ASAP.
I may well opt for some bonnet catches anyway :wack:

It was a good turn out. The SX enjoyed it's last drive for a few months. The RFL is in the post now :(

Bonnet is now sorted thanks, have got it all fixed and nicely connected together again with no more bonnet flexing.
Cheers everyone that helped out with the diagnosis and fixing options, all very much appreciated :thumbs:.
Hopefully the next time i have to sort something it will be performance based as opposed to rust based :wack:

I got there a little late, about 5.30 i think.
Somebody did stop by me when i was having the car washed in Chessington but was just going out of sight by the time i realised!
