Strut braces + bushes

Im about to buy some parts from the US for my S13. Probably a strut brace and some bushes for the front tension control rods.

Anyone else want anything? Im going to order from www.pdm-racing.com (http://www.pdm-racing.com) so have a look round and let me know.

BTW I've never used them before so it's all at your own risk etc. etc.

I'm trying to gather up a group of 200 owners interested in a group buy.

I'm gonna chase up JCWhitney in the states as they do front and rear braces very cheap.

Let me know if your interested as I already have 4 other people.

There maybe a prob though. The US cars have a different engine - will the brace clear the CA18DET?

It will fit with a little persuation, you might get a bit of rub on the bonnet lining, but its nothing to worry about, I've got one for a UK 200sx with the CA18DET and that rubs as well. the main thing is you wont get a huge strutbrace like bump in your bonnet. Must also say that fitting a strut brace is one of the best mods I've done. I used to think that it was just a gimmik but the car is transformed with next to no body roll and much firmer road holding, definatley worth every penny.

The JC whitney strut braces do fit with a little modification, the first thing you should but are new nyloc bolts for the top of the struts, the are a M10 Fine with a 1.25 pitch thread, the nissan ones aren't very good. You also have to bend the ally bar a little more, just heat it up and gentley bend the bar.

If anyone buys the Pilot Motorsports bar(from JC Whitney) and is having trouble then I can post some pictures of what I did to modify it.

Front strut brace from PDM is $40 for S13 and the s14.

They also do a Short Shifter Kit for $75.

UPS is $100 for the lot.

Forgot to mention I've ordered a Front Strut Bar and Short Shifter from PDM. Should get them this week.
