Anyone up for it?
Ek9.org are having a meet there so there will be a few front wheel drive cars actually worth looking at including some dc2's etc :)
Possibly - will have to check with the boss. Under the  again.... :D

Stuck at work most of the time too - but actually have this whole weekend off!!! Alignment and new tyres on Saturday and a birthday to go to on Sunday so I won't be able to make it :(

I'll probably be floating about somewhere in Exmouth (a few usually filter down there after the meet) So if you see a big mauve Lolvo 850 with moose Ferrari badges on the side, give us a flash

Yeah that won't help in the dry but in wet conditions it wouldn't make a difference plus the guy that manages the place is 16 stone and he whoops past all of us.
Its a good experience in the wet you can learn quite allot about controlling understeer (usually with lots of oversteer) and how to initiate a drift, hold a drift etc

I have no problems with understeer:no: i used to own a vectra:ghey: The holding a drift part could be worth a bash although i tend to prefer grip racing and trying to beat my own times:nod:

You can still learn a thing or two in the dry

Another pic of the track, the surface is the same as an f1 track.

Looks great fun  I went on an indoor kart track in Brighton on my stag do back in April - awesome stuff. Maybe we could get a discount for a group booking  I vote for a S-West SXOC get-together there! :sxoc:

I'd be up for karting. Is the one in the pics the one that nigel mansel owns?

£17.50 for 15 min
£30 for 30 min
Thats for arrive and drive but they do grand prix's and endurance races too where you team up in groups of 2 and take it in turns.
You get a printout out your lap times, fastest lap, average lap etc
When we were there on a dry day the guy there said we were doing about 50mph at the end of the start/finish straight which leads to a big corner but you can pretty much just wing it round foot flat to the floor :wack:

Didn't wanna bother listing a new thread as no-one else has mentioned it and I presume there's little interest, but are we not having a South-West meet at Route 38 (or another venue) this sunday??
I dont know Ross, I wont be able to make it.Ill start a thread anyway.
