anyone in swansea a dap hand with sorting out door window glass its starting to do my head in now the glass aint meeting the rubber right plus when i go over 60MPH all i can hear is wind :annoyed: dose anyone know how to do it?

have you had a look behind the door liner to see if it has slipped out the guides/off the runner,or is the moter naffed?

Buffy told me you can adjust them, but i wasn't really paying attention, just kept thinking mmm pub....so it's possible

As long as the door fits the bodyshell correctly (as in , nothing is majorly twisted), the workshop manual shows how to adjust the glass holders.
I've done it on the S14 and it's a matter of removing door cards and then trial and error with the adjusting screws until the gaps/overlap onto seals is correct.

Maybe comparing your glass to seal gaps with those on an S13 that doesn't howl , will give a guide to how far yours need moving :)

Jon, take the door card off and have a go. Best way to learn :) Wont make the car undrivable if you can't fix it.

Good advice,thought i'd need to do mine again as they are rattling :cry:
But i've bought wind deflectors instead now :D

Ha, Ha. Jony had that stuff on the rear of both windows on his car when came up mine:D
