Thinking about doing a midlands website.

A site dedicated just to use midlands SXOC members. With pics of us, our motors, and then of the regular meets that we all go to.

Couple of questions I want to knock around with you.

What should we call it? -SXOC Midlands Crew? (other suggestions please cos it is a bit Alli-G.

What would you like to see on the site?

Is it worth it?

My idea is to make the site a branch off this one, so I will ask if I can use the same style design (and arkwork) as this site, and cross link to this message board.

Post replies with your views please. :)

SXOC Midlands Chapter?

As for wether it's worth it I have a question. Why? Is this site not providing everything you need? What advantage would it give by having a seperate site?

That was 3 questions, wasn't it? DOH :o there's another

Would be good to have pics of the midlands guys and there motors, also things like maps how to get to midlands meets for people who have not been.

My idea is not to make a seperate site, but simply a couple more pages to this one. As it would be designed in the same style as this one, and hopely there will be a link off the main site to the midlands one.

The idea only came about cos if we are going to post pics of our meets, there might aswell be a couple of pages of a website to go with it (looking nice and pretty ;) ). How indepth that site would be would depend.

sounds a good idea
it would also save on SXOC BB web space if all the pics were linked from here to there. reguilarly having 10-15 pics uploaded must take a few meg up.
im not really very techy so if this is a load of crap dont flame me too bad :p

Sound's loke a good idea. A map would be an even better idea as I haven't got a clue were the midlands meet's happen.

Ok so a site is a good idea I take it.

Right one thing for sure, we would need maps. And a page telling peeps of the next meet.

So what should it be called? SXOC Midlands? FF200 (fcucking fast 200)? Give me some ideas, cos when I got a name I can get some artwork done.

So what other pages would you like on the site?

So far:
HOME PAGE
MAPS
DATE OF NEXT MEET
GALLERY + ARCHIEVES

Yeah I will link it to multi map, but also type out lamer directions from the M1.

Cos they would be easier to print off and read whilst driving.
