Just though I would share this money saving tip.

Its just the friction disc, it works with the standard coverplate but I would reccomend getting a new relese bearing from nissan.
The part No. that AP Racing gave me is as follows.
CP6454-9
you can order them from Burton Power Engineering check

Cool,
I think I'll sort myself out with one of them.
My clutch feels a bit too loose, doesnt bite like it used to.
Anyone have any idea howmuch a release bearing is?

Okay help me out here.
It's just a clutch plate right?
That works inside the std housing, okay?
In that case how does it paddle? I though it was the housing/fingers etc that made it paddle.
Oh and what bhp can it hold?
Are they a nightmare to drive?
I think I'm gonna be needing a new one soon http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif
ai had a ap paddle clutch fitted about 6 months ago by se the paddles are on the plate not the cover .they did offer me a uprated cover for a extra £200 this is basically stonger fingers on the cover where the trust bearing pushes .pedal will then become hard to press . they checked the trust bearing and said it was ok .£200 for plate and £90 labour done in 25 mins.the clutch took a few weeks to get used to sharp uptake and judder in 1 st gear .se said run it in for 300 miles no fast standing starts as this is the main problem for the clutch slipping within the 1st week .get a lighted fly wheel as well to save taking gearbox off again £100.se did say the paddle can wear the flywheel face out in time but this can be machined in not to badly damaged also if your subframe bushes are a little worn they will be totaly fu**ed thin days .
ya im very weary of paddle clutches for that reason, bushes and flywheel wear. I think i will go for the fast road one, bit more user friendly.

Have a look at www.advancedclutch.com (http://www.advancedclutch.com) . They do clutches for the 240sx and I'm 99% sure they will fit on a 200 (same spline & disc diameter). The only place in the UK that does them (that I know of) is Dragon Autosport in Colchester. 01206 865444. I've had a look on some US forums and they all seem to like the clutch. They do 3 different clutches for the 240, an organic street clutch and 2 race paddle clutches. The prices seem OK too, no details though.
