Hello everyone, I've not long been on this site and noticed that there seems to be a few of you who come from the north east just wondered if anyone fancy's meeting up.

in Sunderland and base in Washington, my car is in bits i should have it back together in another month or so but willing to meet up then, check out the northern meets section as well to see whos around, a guy called nissan newbie on here is in the north east also,
what type of 200 you have?
I'm in blyth, up for a get together!

I live about 15 mins from Newcastle. I'll be up for a get together once my car's out the body shop.
I'm going to sunny spain until mid may but when I get back do you lot fancy meeting up last day in may which is the 31st, which is a saturday
can anyone sort me out a second hand dump valve for then

What type of dump valve? i've got a std. re-circ. valve. I'm off on the 31st, so I can make it:)

Although I am too suprised at the number of ppl from the northeast on the board...end of may sounds mighty fine to me!!
Hmmmm where you lot planning on meeting, My S13 is going for some cosmetic surgery this Wednesday, got me an new spoiler to put on, as usual the rear os sill is fooked and the arches have a bit surface rust.
Not complaining though the car has done me proud for the last 4 years and it still has only 86K on the clock (with fsh too):)
What about the pot and glass pub next Thursday?
It's a NTOC club meet, good venue, Nevilles cross County Durham.

mate twas a joke LOL, but hey we can meet anywhere as long as we meet:D ideally the 200 as its a 200 meet but hey if you wanna come on your bike then what the hell, tis only a first meet:D i would be in a nisaan sunny only cos my 200 is still not ready, would be nice to see your 200 tho:)

No you've not missed anything, the north east meet a few weeks ago was organised by the micra owners club. I've never heard of the cock of the north! I know another member who lives 2 mins away from me, and I think that packers is only 5 mins away from me too (blyth if i'm right). I'm open to suggestions for a meeting place :)
Seeing as I (along with a few others) live in/around Hull area would it not be possible to organise a meet-up somewhere inbetween? Say Scarborough?
I know there's 1/2 ppl from York, 3 from Hull and a few others nearby who I'm sure would attend!
cock of the north is a pub on the outskirts of durham on the a167, where the a167 forks off, and continues to nevilles cross one way and durham university the other.
if peeps are interested there is still this meet at croft circuit apparently on 6th july????
its an rs owners day but they have an open invite to sxoc members/forum users :thumbs:
well....I live in washington....but I'm up for anything...I dont mid a drive and MATT_J...if you fancy you ould ride with me and split the petrol for a further meet, if your 200 sin't on the road by then?

I'm working the next 2 weekends, so the two weekends after i'm available. I work 2 weekends on and 2 off, so I should have a good chance to make some meets when the're arranged.

I drove to stratford last weekend and back on two popped shocks!!!! net very comfortable...........

It makes interesting driving in the wet having one shock that doesnt work, every left hand corner I go around the back end starts to slide! Sould have my new shocks in around 7-8 weeks :)
i'll be going to the croft one for definate (as long as nothing happens in the mean time!!) but i dont think i'll be racing it on the track, the option is there for £85 i was told, but im planning on just going to have a look and show me beast off!:wack:
scarbrough could be canny if people would travel, im up for that, the a171 road (think thats what its called) between whitby and scarbrough is a fast road with lots of nice bends, (been quite a few casualties on it though).
nothing like a good fast windy road to get the heart pumping!!:thumbs:

I'd be looking at a 2-3 hr drive to scarbrough from here :(
The drive from Hull to Scarborough is also very good.
Nothing I like better than giving it some welly up o Scarb!
If people are up for it then I'm defo there and I suppose so will the other local lads.

Easiest thing to do is to sort a date, a time, and a location and just tell people to turn up, thats all I did with the north east meet I organised a few weeks ago (thanks to a couple of u for showing ur faces).
If u dont pin everything down everyone says well wot about here and here and the thread goes on for ages.
I'm currently in the process of sorting out a North East Karting meet for some of the MSC members
right,
been discussing with base and we wanna make it as accessible as possible and as middle of the north east as possible....
location now to be Boldon cinema off the a19
date to be confirmed, me and base will deffo be attending, so thats two, who esle fancies it and when?

Mike,IIRC boldon is just off the A19 north of sunderland, between sunderland and south shields. I'll have to find out where the cinema is though as I have no idea yet :)
Its on the A19, look for the Boldon turnoff at the big roundabout, you come to a BMW garage, turn left there and head towards Maccy D's and the big Asda there..... Easy enough to find....
following weekend fine by me lets get it organised then:) i finish work on sat and sun about 6pm so anything from then on:)

nissan newbie, sorry mate but its the only way we can organise something is to do it on the BB, i for one only know base56 here in the NE and have his moby number, tis impossible to sort until we have our first meet which we are:) would be good to see your green s14, remember when we were hurtling up the a19 on that chance meeting on 1st January?:D
mikegsi, shame you cant make it mate, will let you know all about it etc and sort something so you can deffo make the next one;) thats if you dont sell the car first :eek:

Yeah mate i remember the day well was scared of getting to close although seeing my bumper now you may have saved me some trouble, flakey paint rubbish bloody bollards ARSE!!!!
I was only kidding on mate, i check the North East board regularly just been away recently, it`ll be good to get together and i really need an S14 pilot to have a look/drive/moan about mine cos i`m sure the clutch/turbo/engine/air conditioning are all screwed or on there way.
