yeah, was a good 2 hrs of entertainment, some excellent racing too with wicked passing manuovres.

I did think it was odd that Alonso didn't slow down, but really do hope he's okay.

rain, lots of it. then a crash or 2 , 3 , 4 - you get the idea.

i think 9 cars finished..!!

all the big favourites went out, and no points for mr maccy again.

Evidently this year Michelen got a change in rules past the FIA meaning that teams are only allowed one type of wet tyre per race, instead of having intermediates (this is what they had in Brazil), wets, and monsoons (what was needed). This was introduced, against the most of the teams wished, to reduce costs.

By far the best F1 racing i've seen in years. Glad to see fisicella on the podeum.... I almost wept for Barrichello though...

The last 3 races have had more entertainment than the last 2 seasons put together. Loads of overtaking and much closer racing. New rules make a big difference.

Only one rain tyre to keep costs down, how much did it cost the teams in smashed motors today? :D i do approve of the new rules though, you just don't know whats gonna happen anymore, and seeing shcuy on his way into the tyre wall was just poetry in motion :D

Funny how it takes a complete farce for Formula 1 to actually get interesting:rolleyes:

They were talking at the start that the whole thing might have to be done behind the safety car:eek:   and they might have to pit that for fuel:eek:

I think I'll stick with Moto GP:D

DAMMIT I missed the whole race. Ages of watching the bloody talk, and I say to my little brother "Give me a shout when this starts - this is going to be a laugh". Problem is, we were both playing desert combat and forgot:rolleyes:
