Installed my Boost Valve yesterday and test drove it to see what PSI I am running with it installed and it boosted to 14PSI.

So I am thinking "This is Great" took it up a dual carriage way and floored in 2 and 3rd gear and suddenly I hear a bang in the engine:(
Pulled over and it sounds like something to tapping violenty within the engine???? put my foot on the accelerator and you can hear it above 2000rpm not below.
The car now shakes violently when its stationary??

I think it could be either:

Pistons or BottomEnds:(

Its not the Head Gasket because I looked under the Oil Cap and there is no white substance (I heard that if the head gasket goes then there should be a mayo like substance on the cap), but then I had no smoke coming from the engine

Its driveable, but it doesnt sound nice.

Any Ideas????

Boost pipe has blown off.

I checked the boost valve and it looks intact??

I have checked the boost pipe and it is securely attached both ends and the boost valve is fine aswell??

I listened to the engine and there is a distinctive clicking coming from the engine aswell?? anyone knows what sounds this is?

I really wanna no what it is because it is really annoying knowing that you have a problem but you havent got a clue what it is??

Get it the garage mate no point in prolonging the agony with people on here guessing is it. Probably summit major or could be something minor.

But running 14psi anyones guessin on here what it might be.

Get it in and get the bad news out the way

That's standard...

I'ev got no idea. If you were only running 14 then you shouldn't have blown anything major. I wonder if it is the timing belt (not sure if this is a safe engine or not).
If the clutch is on the way out, it cuold be that?
