View Full Version : Recent visit!
Well just home from a visit to the lovely country Wales
The hills are damn impressive, ruled out cycling to work......esp up out of Merthyr Tydfil .............speaking of that town, WTF is with the main street....? It's got about eleventy hundred take-away shops :D....
Only thing is the place names are bloody confusing to a Scottish laddie like myself and some of the driving ....esp an older boy in a horrid purple 4 door Suzuki swift........he's made me more grey headed than Chris :p (if anyone meets him feel free to kick im in the shin's) (the swift driver not chris:wack:)
Anyway the point of this is just to say all is good and it looks like i'll be moving down there soon, before the end of the year

Well there has certainly been a fair amount of rain the past 3 day's. Was nly dry for us for an hour when we stopped in Appleby....only because i fcuked a front tyre on a granite kerb :wack:
There's an old guy with a garage in bridge street, slow but fair play to him had a new tyre in stock and only wanted £36 to supply and fit it ...saved the day as i'm such a smart cnut i have no jack.....wheel key......................or spare in the boot. (first time i looked for one lol)
Chris's dog:)
I didn't see Chris or his dug, he was being :ghey: and rough after JAE and i had to (aka wife said oh we'll just head up the road now that you've been to the opencast and stop in Yorkshire somewhere) head home yesterday :(
One thing for definate cycling to work is 100% ruled out!
Some nice scenery though inc a viaduct/bridge built into the hill as you come over the top heading out of Mertyr it sit's on the right across a bit of a valley. Not in use anymore.
