been reading alot of threads regarding JAE (i will be there next year) and knowing that there are alot of competitions, and seeing that some has mentioned awards etcs, so who won what, and why?

SXOC Outstanding Contribution - Jibber & Kev

Team SXOC @ TOTB also got a recognition award

In the JAE events

Matty2Fatty won the japanese food eating award
GMasterT came 3rd in the car pull IIRC
Gav200 came 3rd in the tyre endurance IIRC
Team SXOC lost in the final to NPOC in the TOW

Thankyou to the Staff Mods Reps etc for making this a brilliant event,i thoughroughly enjoyed :clap::sxoc:

And i am really chuffed with my trophy's :D

is that not a quicker time than last year? did that include changing the wheel?

Yeh it was slightly different tho. Due to some of the entrants not being to good with a spanner, the task now was to just undo the finger tight nuts off the wheel and put them back on finger tight after you'd removed it, done your three laps (or four in my case :wack: ) and remounted the wheel on the hub - after stumbling about a bit thro dizziness/head rushes :wack:

Yes...he did it in 2.21 :) Bloody amazing. Did the yard in 51 seconds :D

The amount of time and effort youve put into that car (and cleaning it!) stood right out. I meant to ask how you got on in the interclub show and shine as well actually - did you get a mention?? :confused:

I believe they only named the winner :rolleyes: with the amount of nice cars there I think thats a bit wrong :nod:

I would expect at least a top 3 :nod:

Thanks mate! and that was only a freshen up after the journey,i'd spent about 10 hours during the week too (I need a hobby :wack:)

No there was no feedback :( All i know is the green 300zx next to mine won!
Fair doos it did deserve it,the guy had spent £30k on it,and every part was gleaming :eek: :thumbs:

Yes,i would have liked to have known where mine fell short,i have a fair idea!but to see it in writing would have been nice. Even i was amazed by how fanatically clean the other cars were,and that 1966 Datsun was a real time machine job :nod: (Hearts smilie)
